Here is another view of the finished display. Sea
shells and a pelican were also used to fill in and compliment the show
theme. Our live spanish moss covered the Phaius pot and looked good
draped down the front of the display.
Each orchid was then properly labeled but here many of the
labels are covered with plant registration slips. All plants entered
into competition must be registered and tagged for judging. Before the
show opens a ribbon is placed near the award winners and these papers can be
removed from the display.

I also displayed some of our orchid photographs this
year.
A lot of work goes into organizing, setting up and running
any of the local orchid society shows. I hope you'll visit them
whenever possible and see the many wonderful orchids and artwork on display
for others to enjoy.
